I wear and really like the Alchemy 11's so I decided to order the 12's as a second pair. The 12's are nothing like the 11's in that they run smaller in the length and width, and do not have the same cushioning. I assume a larger size may have fixed the sizing differences however the 'hardness' of the soles were the deal breaker. They were returned.

I have worn Mizuno Alchemy's for several years. Models 10 and 11 didn't change the basic fit at all. Alchemy 12 has altered the shoe to the point that it is not wearable for me.
They change the lace up and made it much narrower, which has the effect of tighten from the top down, rather than pulling the sides in. I have a high arch and this change in pressure points
makes my foot numb. I could not stand to have them on my feet for more than 2 hours. I regularly buy the 2E width so there is no helping the situation by buying a wider shoe.
I returned them and I can only hope they change the fit back to the older version

I have flat arches and over pronate greatly will running. The Alchemy 12's control my over pronation and are very comfortable on long runs.
