In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. I really love the lightweight feel of these shoes. And the rubber spikes on the bottom make them a great (and cheaper) option for golf shoes. But I would advise you to get a half-size larger than you normally would. One other reviewer said the same thing, and I made the mistake of not following that advice. I ALWAYS wear a 11.5, but I had to return those for a 12 this time.
Other than that though, they are a great shoe for running, or in my case golfing.

I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED THAT ACICS PRODUCT ARE TOP QUALITY...ALTHOUGH THE SHOE IS NOT TRUE TO SIZE...1/2 SIZE LARGER WILL DO THE TRICK.
